The piece is inspired in the painting The Two Sisters, an 1843 oil painting on canvas by the French artist Théodore Chassériau. The image shows two women connected by their hair and depicts the unbreakable bond between siblings. To read more about this piece, please check the artwork here.
This piece is inspired by the painting Tanz der Salomé (Dance of Salomé) by Leopold Schmutzler, 1905-1907. The image tells the story of Salome, who is known from the New Testament, where she is not named, and from an account by Flavius Josephus. In the New Testament, the stepdaughter of Herod Antipas demands and receives the head of John the Baptist. To read more about this piece, please check the artwork here.
Inspired in the work Azulejões by Adriana Varejão and the painting Portrait of Maria I of Portugal (1734-1816) by unknown artist. To read more about this piece, please check the artwork here.
This is a Latinx inspired dress in the form of a Pepe extravaganza! Hermit Wintour’s look is inspired in the famous Versace dress wore by JLo at the Grammy Awards in 2000, and that played a huge role in the creation of Google Images. The overall idea was inspired by the Thom Browne gown wore by Cardi B at the Met Gala 2019. To read more about this piece, please check the artwork here.
