Inspired in the Marvel's X-Men, Volume 1 - Featuring Night of the Sentinels.
Wonderful Ed is born from a real life story.
I was being haunted by my bills and I decided to leave the UK and return to Brazil. The living cost was impossible to keep up with and I found myself trapped in a day time job to make ends meet. From endless nightmares and waken nights, one day I decided I had to do something about it - I was going to make fun of myself, as I so often enjoy doing. And so was born Wonderful Ed - stories created with the power of sarcasm and everyday drama & non sense.
First sketches of Ed made in May.
I started sketching what would become Wonderful Ed back in May when I was still in London. Edward is inspired by one of my teddy bears. I have so many of them, and Edward particular is the one who is always travelling with me. He has an adventurous soul, and he has been such a loyal companion in my trips, I decided he was the one that would fight the so-called Electropum.

I started portraying my teddy-bears last year in my genesis piece for SupeRare. I've realised I enjoyed creating and developing the personality of my characters, and story-telling has always been part of what I do. Once I arrived in Rio and finally saw myself free from the evil tentacles of Electropum is when this character and whole story finally was able to be born.

I carried on drawing and writing daily, and soon I was turning my whole family and friends into Wonderful Ed characters. I used AI to organise the best way to release this collection and overall productivity and scheduling support, which without, I couldn't have managed.
